It is our great pleasure to announce that the 12th Hong Kong Diabetes & Cardiovascular Risk Factors – East Meets West (EMW) Symposium will be held on 1 – 2 October 2010 at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre.

This symposium is jointly organized by the Hong Kong Institute of Diabetes and Obesity (HKIDO), The Chinese University of Hong Kong, the Hong Kong Foundation for Research and Development in Diabetes (HKFRDD), the Hong Kong Association for the Study of Obesity (HKASO), the Hong Kong Atherosclerosis Society (HKAS), and CMPMedica Pacific Limited (CMPMedica). We have received support from many professional healthcare associations for this meaningful symposium. It aims to provide a forum for both clinical and scientific researchers with complementary experience and expertise to debate and foster collaboration towards a common goal of prevention and management of diabetes and its complications. This symposium provides an invaluable opportunity to learn more about recent advances in diabetes care, obesity and management of atherosclerotic diseases.
